# propinas.io > propinas.io is a Spanish web platform for receiving digital tips. Any worker who deals with customers (delivery riders, waiters, supermarket staff, taxi drivers, hairdressers and others) creates a personal tip page in about two minutes and gets their own QR code and link. Customers scan the QR, open the link or tap an NFC tag, choose an amount and pay by card (Apple Pay and Google Pay appear on supported devices) or Bizum (MB WAY in Portugal), with no app and no account. Payments are processed by Stripe and the money goes to the worker's own Stripe account, then to their bank. Signing up costs nothing; the platform charges a commission on each tip received. Spain and Portugal, euros only. The site is available in Spanish (es-ES) and Portuguese (pt-PT). The profile belongs to the worker, not to an employer: the same QR and link keep working if they change jobs. Sign-up uses a mobile number verified by an SMS code — there are no passwords — plus name, sector and acceptance of the terms. To receive payouts, the worker completes Stripe's identity verification (ID document and IBAN); being self-employed is not required. Plans (commission is deducted from each tip; VAT included): - Base: no fee; 12% commission per tip, minimum €0.45; payout to the bank on the 1st of each month. - Pro: €4.99 every 30 days; 7% commission, minimum €0.25; weekly payout on Fridays. - Top: €9.99 every 30 days; 4% commission, no minimum; weekly payout on Fridays. The Pro/Top fee is not charged to a card: it is withheld from the worker's next tips. Tips range from €1 to €500. A worker can refund a tip within 24 hours; the customer gets the full amount back. Each month the platform issues an invoice for the commissions it charged (requires the worker's tax ID / NIF). Referrals: a referred worker's first 3 tips carry no commission, and the referrer earns €2.50 on the referred worker's 4th tip and €2.50 on the 5th. ## Pages - [Home](https://propinas.io/): Landing page — how it works for workers and customers, plans and commissions, FAQ. - [Sign up](https://propinas.io/alta): Create a worker tip page (mobile number + SMS code). - [Contact](https://propinas.io/contacto): Contact form for questions and support. - [Terms of use](https://propinas.io/terminos): Terms in plain language — how payouts work, commissions, obligations. - [Privacy policy](https://propinas.io/privacidad): Personal data processed, purposes and GDPR rights. - [Terms of use - Portugal](https://propinas.io/termos): Terms for workers with a Portuguese account (Stripe account in Portugal, MB WAY, Portuguese law). - [Privacy policy - Portugal](https://propinas.io/privacidade): Privacy policy for workers with a Portuguese account (CNPD as supervisory authority). ## Guides - [Digital tips](https://propinas.io/propinas-digitales): How to receive tips without cash. - [Tips by QR code](https://propinas.io/propinas-qr): How QR tipping works for the customer and the worker. - [Tips for waiters](https://propinas.io/propinas-camareros): Digital tips for waiters and hospitality staff. - [Tips for delivery riders](https://propinas.io/propinas-riders): A QR or NFC tag on the bag or helmet. - [Tips by Bizum](https://propinas.io/propinas-bizum): Receiving tips with Bizum or card without sharing a phone number. - [Tips for taxi and VTC drivers](https://propinas.io/propinas-taxistas): A QR on the back seat. - [Tips in hair salons](https://propinas.io/propinas-peluqueria): Tips for hairdressers, barbers and beauticians. - [How to ask for a tip](https://propinas.io/como-pedir-propina): Practical guide to accepting tips without making customers uncomfortable. ## Guides for Portugal (in Portuguese, pt-PT) - [Digital tips (gorjetas digitais)](https://propinas.io/gorjetas-digitais): How to receive tips without cash. - [Tips by QR code](https://propinas.io/gorjeta-qr): How QR tipping works for the customer and the worker. - [Tips with MB WAY](https://propinas.io/gorjeta-mb-way): The customer pays with MB WAY or card by scanning the QR, without seeing the worker's phone number. - [Tips for delivery couriers (estafetas)](https://propinas.io/gorjetas-estafetas): A QR or NFC tag on the bag or helmet. - [Tips for TVDE and taxi drivers](https://propinas.io/gorjetas-tvde-taxistas): A QR on the back seat. - [Tips for waiters](https://propinas.io/gorjetas-empregados-de-mesa): Digital tips for waiters and restaurant staff. - [Tips in hair salons](https://propinas.io/gorjetas-cabeleireiros): Tips for hairdressers, barbers and beauticians. - [Tips for hotel housekeepers](https://propinas.io/gorjetas-camareiras-de-andares): A personal QR card for housekeeping staff, subject to the hotel's rules. - [How to ask for a tip](https://propinas.io/como-pedir-gorjeta): Practical guide to accepting tips in Portugal without making customers uncomfortable. ## Crawl hints - [Sitemap](https://propinas.io/sitemap.xml): XML sitemap listing all publicly indexable URLs. - [Robots](https://propinas.io/robots.txt): Crawl directives — the worker portal, admin panel and API are disallowed. ## Notes Each worker's tip page lives at `https://propinas.io/@{handle}`. These are personal pages shared through the worker's own QR code or link; they are not listed in the sitemap. The worker portal (`/portal`), the admin panel (`/admin`) and the API (`/api/`) require authentication and are disallowed for crawlers. The platform does not ship NFC tags: the worker portal explains how to write the tip link onto an NTAG213 tag the worker buys. The site is available in Spanish (`es-ES`) and Portuguese (`pt-PT`): the language is chosen with a switch, and the Portuguese guides have their own URLs written natively in Portuguese. In Portugal a tip is called "gorjeta" and MB WAY replaces Bizum. An AI assistant on the site (Pío) answers questions about the platform only.
